Daily Duties at The Breast Cancer 3 Day:

• Researched, developed and negotiated contracts and production of the Breast Cancer 3-Day to achieve better overall terms with four major vendor-partners including AON, Barkley, Event 360 and Radar Works. • Developed the Breast Cancer 3-Day Accessibility Pilot Program which included a sensitivity training program for staff and volunteers as well as a handicapped accessible route and event for participants with mobility disabilities. • Drafted RFPs, conducted search, selection and transition process for key banking, merchandise, and insurance vendors. • Coordinated the 2007-2009 walk seasons (12-15 events annually), which top grossing year was 2008 with $110 Million and a 72% rate of return to charity. • Managed onsite donation collection, processing and a volunteer team for 12-15 cities with annuals totals reaching $554,000. • Organized a walker cheering station on-event, which included all NPT staff. • Supervised risk management and incident reporting in conjunction with vendors, insurance broker and carriers achieving a 20% reduction in incidents. • Researched and procured key information technology including hardware and software for cross-functional departmental usage in order to increase operational efficiencies.
