Daily Duties at City Of West Palm Beach:
• Ensure full compliance with Federal and State regulations; auditing responsibilities • Superior knowledge of Federal and State Grants such as: SHIP, CDBG, HOME, HHRP, and My Safe Florida Home Grants • Administer City’s affordable homebuyers and rehabilitation programs • Administer, monitor, oversee, and supervise lending relationships and non profit organization • Perform statistical analysis of informational data to ensure budget and project performance • Review all monetary legal contracts, revisions, promissory notes, legal opinions • Create and update tracking reports for different state and federal grants and loans • Counsel, plan, organize, and control the work of assigned employees • Knowledge of financial methods, practices and procedures • Knowledge of accounting and auditing methods (ORACLE, General Ledger, Account Payables) • Manage vendor accounts, generating weekly and on demand cheques • Interview, train and hire new staff members.
