Showed patients to examination rooms and prepared them for physician’s exam. Recorded patient’s medical history, vital statistics, and test results in medical records. Performed vitals/glucose testing, administrated injections, urinalysis collection and testing, Experienced with performing pregnancy tests and sent specimens for laboratory testing. Helped physician examine and treat patients, assisting with instruments, and suture removals. Collected blood, tissue, and other specimens and prepared them for lab testing. Cleaned and sterilized instruments and properly disposed of contaminated supplies. Authorized drug refills and provided detailed information for pharmacies. Assisted physician with minor surgeries and non-invasive procedures. Utilized strong assessment skills to determine necessary patient care. Ordered and read laboratory tests, x-rays, MRI, EKG, and ultrasound test results.
