Daily Duties at United States Air Force :
Directly support base logistics/transportation operations, preparing, planning, and managing logistical for 50,000 active & reserve troops assigned to Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. Integrate logistics including financial, transportation, road network planning, supply chain support, and material life cycle management. Ensure supplies and equipment is in place with troops and arrange for re-supply as needed. Coordinate with other military organizations and government agencies to secure mission critical supplies. Logistics and administrative personnel, with 15 direct reports, train employees and technical regulation, policies, and procedures. Recognize staff performance in multitasking, deadline management, problem-solving, and teamwork. Identify and evaluate current and potential logistics problems, determining cause and developing corrective action plans. Research and assess readiness posture data and assess potential situations adversely affecting mission readiness. Evaluate polices, procedures, operations, and systems, develop and implement improved concepts and systems. Measure and evaluate program effectiveness and productivity. Served as key vehicle operations trainer at 916th LSS Air Refueling Wing Operations to deliver training for military personnel.
