Daily Duties at Kkhr Radio:
Pioneered the first FM Tejano (Hispanic) format in the market. Proven background of building a successful stand alone radio station from $50,000 in billing in 1994 to $350,000.00 annually in a $4M market with 17 stations. Maintained a local account list, responsible for all national and regional billing while handling 30% of station sales personally. Managed sales staff of 5 driving higher revenues and consistent billing. Sold Hispanic to general market and built relationships. Upgraded facilities, purchased all types of equipment from studios to transmitters and antennas. Responsible for all aspects of station operation including, sales, inventory management, programming, traffic, billing, engineering, staffing and FCC compliance.
