Daily Duties at Verizon Business:
Complete work orders from Global Data Engineering on IPL and GPL circuits. Work directly with domestic and international carriers as well as customers. Build and test international private lease lines. Make and break dacs cross connects at ds0, T1, E1, DS3 levels on multiple dacs equipment such as Alcatel TDAX, Alcatel 1630sx, Alcatel 1631, Tellabs 5500, 532 Lucent dxc1x0, Newbridge, DNX-88, Fujitsu Netsmart 500, Nortel OME 6500, Ericsson/Marconi. Interfacing SDH/SONET cross connections when applicable. Troubleshoot & modify facilities within Verizon Business network via remote control with PC GUI/telnet applications.
