Daily Duties at Fitzgeralds Caino:

1. Authored promotional and winner press releases and sent them to the bi-weekly Denver Post section “THE DEAL” circulation 700,000, where they were published. 2. Proofed all copy and approve print ads. 3. Establish monthly direct mail coupon dates and selected content for eight advertising flyers. Then advised, proofed and coordinated advertising agency artwork as well as coordinated address and offer mail files from my database analyst to the direct mail company so mail they could process and mail monthly package. (I did this for 4 different mail packages.) 4. Worked with ad agency on developing scripts, hired Production Company and produced television commercials. 5. Worked closely with advertising agency on all media buys so that we purchased the most points and achieved the best reach and frequency for the least amount of money. 6.Wrote radio copy and co-produced our radio spots locally saving the company $1,250 a spot in production fees and $30,000 annually. 7. Collaborated with our Food & Beverage department and our Casino Operations department on a monthly basis and communicated all new games and monthly specials in our direct mail pieces and print advertising. 8. Created monthly promotions that affected coin-in and volume. Worked with the Promotions Supervisor on a daily basis so all promotions were approved by Colorado Division of Gaming, communicated to all departments, ensured that departments that were directly affected received training in the promotions, and that all promotions were executed correctly. 9. Created marketing plan using customer based research to create strategies that achieve goals of over $25m in revenue. 10. Analyzed direct mail and promotions reports for ROI and made course corrections when necessary. 11. Supervised Sales Department making sure that they were achieving monthly contacts quotas and coin–in numbers. Met weekly with Sales Manager to make sure all members were on course. 12. Wrote annual reviews and requested raises for my 3 direct reports and gave input and final approval on 15 other reviews. All total I was responsible for 17 team members in my department. 13. Wrote content for the Company WEB site and made sure that it was updated. 14. Designed graphics for the outdoor moving LED sign and updated the sign on a daily basis. 15. Hired and terminated team mebers in my department.
