Daily Duties at Ben Gurion University, :
• Conducted research projects on signal transduction pathways that are linked to key receptors (GCPR and FcR: Bradykinin, FGF,EGF and CAM) in Primary Human Endothelial and Vascular smooth muscle cells and Ki-ras and JR endothelial cells. • Studied how effectors downstream of these receptors (particularly MAPKs (1 and 2),SRC, ras, JNK) regulated Endothelial and Vascular cells functions and how they talk to each other. • These studies involved the development of a novel Multi-Color FACS Analysis method to measure MAPKs activity, Preparing of various GFP-tagged (green and yellow) proteins to study their trafficking and localization patterns, and the use of mutated proteins. • Serve as a technical expert and technician on a wide variety of molecular techniques, transfection and SDS-PAGE electrophoresis, western blot, recombinant protein purification and test primer and probe candidates to determine optimal primer probe combination RT-PCR • Studied the role of PX-domains in protein-protein interaction. • Among responsibilities: Teaching and instructing biochemistry and microbiology courses, overseeing an undergraduate research projects, lab instruction regarding individual projects of undergraduates • Research Project showing a high correlation between the female hormone estrogen and vitamin D receptors in the large intestine by using endocrinology (like scathcard plot analysis) in Rat model • Maintain reagents/reagent supplies. • Maintains sterile culture of mammalian cells, supports the scalable cultures in flasks or reactors, and performs a variety of experiments in cell growth, transfection, and productivity assessment. Using affinity, gel filtration, or ion exchange chromatography, BCA, LAL, and ELISA assays.

(E.g. Manage registration tracking system including tracking submissions and updating registration database with Q-soft program – which I was Self study) . , 12.Molecular cloning technique: PCR, RT-PCR, Restriction digest, ligation, DNA/RNA gel electrophoresis, bacterial transformation, plasmid isolation and purification, plasmid transfection and generation of over expressed cell lines. Gene manipulation and d, 13.Protein analysis: protein expression in cell culture, SDS-PAGE electrophoresis, western blot analysis, isolation and purifications of proteins, co-immuno-precipitation technique, immuno-fluorescence technique and immuno-staining, 14.Culture experience: sterile work with various human and mouse cell cultures, bacterial cultures, cell transfection, treatment of cells with growth factors/inhibitors/drug, cell counts, 15.Bioinformatics: searching in GenBank, experience in genome/protein/cDNA databases analysis, BLAST and sequence alignment, genome comparison of various species, 16.Microbiology: diagnostic bacteriology, cultivation and isolation of bacteria, specialized culture media and culture conditions, testing antimicrobial susceptibility, 17.Microsoft office programs (e.g: Word. Excl, Power point, Access), Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Q-soft, Interwise
