Daily Duties at Hitachi Data Systems:
Directed, reviewed and approved activity of 2 direct reports and 8 indirect reports. Identified and validated the dynamic real estate needs of assigned U.S. client groups and developed working knowledge of the client’s business resulting in the execution of real estate solutions. Designed space layout and directed the new construction, remodeling or leasehold improvements of office space. Interface with local architects on office design with the use of AutoCAD. Maintained master space plan and cubicle assignments for 300k sf corporate headquarters and 65k sf global call center as well as served as primary facility/project manager for 15 other offices within the US. Negotiated successful contracts and developed long-term working relationships with construction crews, movers, installers, telecom and various vendors including Real Estate brokers. Partnered and negotiated with furniture vendors and ergonomic suppliers to provide solutions for employee requirements while continually driving cost savings. Developed financial reporting to control spending and monitor department budget. Managed out-sourced on-site cafeteria/catering vendor.
