Daily Duties at Battelle Memorial Institute:
•Data extraction of metadata to compile for database accurately composed non technical and technical documents to prepare them for archiving. • Edited contracts to be placed into company's repository, scanned documents into portable document format (PDF) using Adobe Acrobat for archiving • Performed quality check of staff work for accuracy, assisted co-workers with questions and troubleshooting. • Supervised staff of three when supervisor was away or absent, provided advice and guidance to staff on clerical and administrative matters • Extracted and compiled a broad range of data from a variety of written sources, personal contacts and/or data bases selected independently. • Maintained document log database and ensured that requirements for classified materials were accurately followed. • Evaluated records for preservation and retention
