Daily Duties at At&T:
• Perform test and turn-up for VOIP circuits with switch technicians and provide premium testing for CLEC hot-cuts with wide-ranging CLEC’s for prestigious customers through remote systems. • Performed remote mapping of DS0 through OC48 circuits including DACS cross connects, multiplexer formatting, and ring mapping along with performance checks to ensure the highest quality service possible. Completed testing of DS1 and DS0 circuits with varied LECS and high profile customers. Provided technical, policy & procedure training to new hires of the Test and T urn-Up team. Performed scheduled cooperative hot cuts and disconnect/ reterm orders with customers and LEC technicians as needed. • Equipment assists in the completion of all above tasks: - Centest 550/650 - Lucent DACS/DEX/Multiplexer - Cisco ONS - Alcatel DACS - Nortel OC3/OC12/OC48/Optera - Ciena Metro - Adtran Total Access - Fujitsu OC3/OC12/OC48 - Soneplex - Tellabs Titan5500/Titan532/Edgelink Technical Training AT&T Technical Education Center; AT&T, Dayton, NJ Lucent OC3/OC12/OC48 Adtran Total Access T1/T3 Basics T1 Troubleshooting and Testing TSNOW TIRKS SOTS HTML 4 Ciena Technical Education Center; Baltimore, MD Ciena Multi Wave Metro
