Daily Duties at Orbital Sciences Corporation:
Senior Government Property Administrator Maintain government property storeroom. Verify receipt of purchased material and equipment and attach identification numbers to enable equipment tracking. Prepare custodian reports. Update government property database with equipment ID number, part number, description, responsible person and location. Prepare material transfer or shipment documentation. Conduct monthly government property audits and annual inventories to satisfy financial reporting requirements COMSEC Custodian Verify COMSEC material receipt and maintain NSA-approved Distributed INFOSEC Accounting System (DIAS) database to control inventory. Issue COMSEC material to authorized users. Prepare and transfer material to other organizations. Identify and document surplus material. Transfer material to another organization or prepare destruction documentation and destroy material. Conduct annual inventory to verify database accuracy.
