Interviewed, hired and fired staff as needed. Conducted Infection Control monitoring and reporting of trends. Conducted backround checks and drug screens on potential new hires. Provided continuing education and staff development inservices. Maintained emplyee files for Workers Comp cases and interacted with claimants and insurance company. Counseled staff on FMLA. Assisted scheduling staff to ensure adequate staffing for all shifts per state regulations.
