Contributed to 100% Mission Success of critical Aerospace products by managing an engineering team in tightly controlling Aerospace manufacturing processes, optimizing process variable limits, continually improving control of all process elements and selectively implementing more robust or environmentally sensitive process substitutions. Managed a team of Chemical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Welding Engineers, Ceramics Engineers, Technical Documentation Specialists and Technical Trainer/Certifiers. Organization tasked with controlling/certifying special process production elements to ensure consistent quality attributes were achieved in manufacturing. Manufacturing processes included Printed Circuit Boards, Large Scale Solar Arrays, Aerospace electronics/SMT, Ceramic Insulating materials among others. Trainers managed certified personnel in critical skills such as NASA Soldering, Cable/harness assembly, ESD/Cleanroom protocol, NASA Polymerics and other skills. Implemented Six-Sigma and Statistical Process Control techniques. Multiple processes improved through leadership of Six-Sigma teams.
