I performed most of the above mentioned duties in addition to the following duties: • Supervised day-to-day departmental activities and ensured adherence to the department standards and procedures • Ensured a proper staff evaluation is being practices within the section • Prepared and reported analysis results to the concerned individuals as appropriate • Prepared the monthly workload statistics • Ensured compliance in accordance with the JCIA and CAP and National Guard standards • Established and wrote the departmental policies and procedures of Microbiology laboratory • Established a system to monitor the consumption of reagents and materials • Established Microbiology Quality Assurance Indicators • Commenced the DFA for Virus Infection tests
