Daily Duties at Micros Systems, Inc:
Conduct testing and analysis of software applications within the Research and Development department, collaborating with Software Development, Product Management, Sales, Support, and QA to isolate and define issues. Collaborate on reverse-engineering analysis of legacy products to improve documentation, and provide requirements for next-generation products. Formulate solutions to fix/redesign defects and system problems. Develop relationships across departments to improve issue response times. Serve as primary technical resource for customer support and other departments; interact with both international and US groups. Provide status updates to senior management; offer recommendations for managing/resolving ongoing issues. Deliver training presentations regarding new releases and features.
