Daily Duties at Us Army H Qs 19th Theater Support Command:
Provided strategic level deliberate and crisis action planning and executing operations in the first integrated active and reserve component logistics environment combining soldiers from Korea and Iowa into a single focused unit. Developed and instituted viable logistics plans for meeting the assigned or implied operational taskings in support of the Korean Theater. Wrote the Y2K Emergency Plan for Fort Des Moines and its’ tenant units. Recognizing the potential Homeland Security threat to the Fort Des Moines installation, created the emergency response plan. Prepared broad planning guidance, policies, and programs. Conducted research, developed and provided briefings to support supervisors’ information requirements and staff planning process utilizing Global Command and Control System (GCCS) to research and disseminate sensitive correspondence. Coordinated and facilitated the integration of all warplan annexes and appendices into one concise plan.
