Daily Duties at Amcor Mppg Group Masterbox:
Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator 6-2008 to 1-2009 • Research stock levels, shipping requirements, and delivery times for all product lines. • Place purchase orders for all product lines. • Review receiving documents, confirm prices. • Research new vendors, maintaining samples, prices and shipping requirements. • Negotiate pricing, request quotations, deviations, and volume discounts with all mills. • Communicate delivery schedules on all vendor shipments with receiving department. • Handle logistics pricing with outside shipping firms for incoming and outgoing shipments. • Communicate shipping and local vendor will calls with the shipping department. • Coordinate shipments to other divisions • Coordinate and set up export shipments including required documentation.
