Daily Duties at Malcolm X Academy Charter School:

 Primary responsibilities included monitoring and providing ongoing supervision to 9th, 10th and 11th grade students and faculty, as well as school staff who worked in the areas of safety, transportation and athletics.  Prepared fiscal budgets.  Evaluated and mediated parent concerns.  Observed the work done by staff. Provided guidance and praise as appropriate. Correct action and develop/implement corrective action plans when needed.  Directly contributed as member of the Malcolm X Academy High School Administrative Team as well as Director of Community Learning Center.  Coordinated annual student college trip and maintained ongoing relationships with colleges.  Developed First generation College Readiness program in collaboration with the CLC.
