Daily Duties at The Nasdaq Omx:
Charged with managing and advancing all aspects of Directors Desk including sales, marketing, implementations and development. As the North American Sales Manager, the main responsibilities include coordinating sales campaigns, establishing sales territories, quotas, goals, managing P&L, Pipeline management and establishing training programs for sales representatives. Currently analyze sales statistics to determine sales potential & requirements and monitor the preferences of customers. Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service. Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts. Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of the software products. Determine price schedules and discount rates, review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability. Direct, coordinate, and review activities in sales and service accounting and recordkeeping. Confer or consult with department heads to plan advertising services and to secure information on customer specifications. Advise on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business. Prepare budgets and approve budget expenditures. Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products.
