Daily Duties at Proffitt's:
Financial responsibility for store budget, store efficiency, and all phases of employee compensation – planning/budgeting approval/implementation/reporting/etc. Maintained staffing requirements and filled openings with qualified applicants – within operating plan. Responsible for all training – included New Employee Orientation, and ongoing educational opportunities for all employees to ensure advantages for development and employee expertise in areas of responsibility, as needs of the business allowed. Frequently represented company to outside organizations through recruiting and advertising efforts as well as representing company at charitable events.
