Daily Duties at Citibank:
Executive with complete responsibility for all financial aspects of the division’s activities. This included general ledger activities associated with the monthly close, issuance of daily flash reports, profitability analysis and monthly reporting and tracking of all risks and opportunities. • Designed, implemented, and maintained the MIS system for tracking all actual and forecasted sales dynamics by product, channel and vendor for a $600MM business. This included reporting at the waterfall level in tracking all aspects of the marketing and sales process. • Manager, motivator and trainer for staff of eight professionals in a multi-location environment. • Liaison with CFO group to insure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and all accounting policies. • Supported the Region Head and Group Controller in all financial aspects of managing and controlling a business with $6B in assets, $110MM in revenue and a $25MM expense base. • Worked closely with the Region Head to develop and implement the annual budget and six quarter rolling forecast. Developed all financial models used for planning and forecasting profitability by the core city locations and team level components. • Resolved revenue issues with product suppliers resulting in an additional $800M in reported earnings. • Designed, developed, and implemented monthly team level performance reporting. • Ensured strict compliance with all corporate policies, procedures and external requirements affecting the financial conduct of the business. (FDICIA risk reviews, KYC compliance). • Implemented expense control procedures and initiated periodic self-audit reviews of all established expense policies.
