Daily Duties at Boston Scientific/Guidant:
-Architected, designed and lead the development effort of integrating the Latitude Patient Monitoring system with GE’s EMR(Electronic Medical Record) system -Lead the development team through five iterations to develop, design and implement thirteen features of the Latitude remote Monitoring web application - Mentored the junior developers about best practices of J2ee development -Provided technical leadership for the development team(8 developers) including task estimation, assignment and follow-up -Conducted design review sessions -Lead Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions for the different features that the development team developed -Lead the prototype effort for migrating the existing app into a Spring/Hibernate based light weight architecture -Worked with System Engineers, Business Analysts and managers of other business units to identify the impacts of new business requirements -Created architecture blueprints, identified reuse opportunities across multiple projects
