Daily Duties at Department Of Veterans Affairs:

• Assessing and planning the care of veterans facing psychological, emotional, substance abuse, housing and financial issues • Collaborating with Community, VAMC, CBOC, and other veteran support groups to identify, assist and help vets to manage these conditions and or concerns. • I remain open to work weekends and non-traditional hours to serve working vets. • Assisting families, hospital personnel and physicians in making plans for discharge, aftercare and long and short term clinical therapy. • Providing CBT to enable veterans to learn and manage cooping skills. • Documenting veteran care to enable the vet to participate in necessary programs and or receive needed benefits. I continue to study to develop and or enhance relevant knowledge base to assist veterans in the management of personal, physical, and psycho-social concerns that would ultimately improve the veteran’s quality and longevity of life.

What they like about Department Of Veterans Affairs:

The social vibrance of a hiring firm is very important to you. Your ability to make and maintain friendships there is a critical part of your decision. You would likely be dissatisfied with a workplace that is quiet, cold, or otherwise not particularly social. When you investigate a new hiring company, ask recruiters, managers, and potential co-workers about the social life and opportunities there. This is especially important when you are relocating; moving dramatically alters your social sphere both inside and outside the workplace.
