Daily Duties at Dept. Of Veterans Affairs:

 Provide intensive case management services for veterans in the HUD/VASH program  Responsible for reviewing agreements between Section 8, landlords, Public Housing Authorities, and the VA in establishing appropriate referral sites for HUD/VASH placements.  Conduct routine suicide risk screens, comprehensive assessments, and collaborative safety plans  Coordinate care, including serving as an advocate on behalf of veterans to ensure comprehensive service deliver, and linking and referring veterans to the VA Medical Center, VA Regional Offices and/or community agencies.  Provide on-going therapy and counseling to veterans in the program  Conduct home visits to ensure health and safety of veterans in the program  Assess homeless veterans to determine eligibility for HUD-VASH program * Participated in Literature and Medicine Program
