Daily Duties at Ambit Group:
Responsible for the development of business process models for the current training processes at the Coast Guard. Used standard Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) to identify processes and activities, owners and workflows that comprise the Coast Guard business process for the management and execution of Coast Guard training and education. Documented these processes in Aqualogic. • Assisted in interviewing Training Information System stakeholders to determine the responsibilities of that office related to training and education and the processes involved in carrying out those responsibilities. • Assisted in integrating the Business Process Model with the Legacy IT Systems identified. • Provided process assessments by mapping current systems with business processes to show which activities fall within each system through business, technical studies and analysis. • Provided analytical support in identifying system gaps where there was no system that performed a process, and processes for which there were redundant system solutions.
