Daily Duties at Fairbury Hospital:

I was respomsible for scheduling staff for all areas and mediating disputes between staff. After 4pm the only pharmacist left, and the supervisor was reresponsible for pulling medications for the entire facilty.The hospital was 24 bed institution, 20 bed Skilled Nursing Facility and a 70 bed Nursing Home. I provided breaks for staff and sometimes I was the only RN in house except for the OB nurse. The ER was staffed with a tech and all emergiecies were handled by the house supervisor; including codes and trauma. As the acting assistant director of nursing I revised policy and procedures and wrote new ones as technology advanced.
