Daily Duties at Avery Dennison Shared Services Center:

• Duties consisted of reconciling general ledger accounts including interunit receivables and payables as a result of intercompany transactions in order to settle interunit accounts during month end close; • Analyzed and utilized various reports and queries within PeopleSoft for reconciliation purposes; • Reconciled system interfaces and clearing suspense items for various business units; • Uploaded general ledger PeopleSoft financial information to Hyperion Enterprise management reporting system at month end after adjusting entries were made to create financial statements; reconciled financial data uploaded to Hyperion with financial data in PeopleSoft. • Edited and posted journal entries and created adjusting journal entries at month end; • Instructed PeopleSoft training for new General ledger staff and business units; • Assisted with system testing in PeopleSoft; • Served as global administrator for North America and Europe for feedback and review process of policies and procedures for all accounting process functions; worked with global team leaders to standardize policies and procedures for North America and Europe. • Prepared monthly G/L performance measurement and customer care reports for Director; • Uploaded accounting policies and procedures to c.Knowledge database Lotus Notes database to be used for global reporting standards and assisted with training of staff on database, etc.
