Daily Duties at Healthcare Partners Of Nevada:
• Planned, directed, coordinated, and reviewed the financial reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger and payroll reporting functions; • Monitored accounts receivable and collections for up to 30 clinics on a monthly basis utilizing IDX system-generated billing reports for aging, month-to-date transaction reports by clinic location, claim lag status, and patient visits by billing categories. Recommendations were made to executive management each month based upon the analysis of these reports. • Collaborated with Billing department and IT department in order to implement IDX billing system and to design and customize reports needed for financial billing analysis for clinic revenues. • Selected, trained, motivated, and evaluated accounting personnel; provide or coordinate staff training; work with employees to correct deficiencies and/or performance issues; • Ensured a timely close schedule each month by monitoring deadlines and providing staff with necessary information needed • Conducted monthly pre-close and post-close meetings with regional teams to discuss financial reports and financial status of budgets • Assisted the Vice-President of finance with the development of annual financial budgets for multiple companies • Coordinated and supervised annual financial audit preparation and working with staff and external audit team to ensure timely completion of audits • Prepared accurate financial reports and analysis and presents findings and recommendations to executive management • Conducted monthly and weekly meetings with staff in order to update staff on various developments, monitor and assess workloads, and discuss various issues in order to identify opportunities for improvement and propose recommendations and solutions • Administered and documented policies and procedures for internal control purposes and compliance with federal and state laws. • Reviewed financial statements for accuracy each month and monitoring and analyzing balance sheet accounts including intercompany accounts on a monthly basis • Assisted the corporate office with the preparation of annual/quarterly federal and multi-state tax reporting • Responsible for monthly/quarterly sales and use tax reporting and local property tax reporting • Worked with staff to implement various process improvements • Managed the development and timeliness of various projects • Worked with staff, VP of Finance, and HR personnel on due diligence and planning of mergers and acquisitions of various companies by set deadlines • Worked with finance team to resolve internal customer issues in a tactful and expedient manner • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required by the Vice-President of Finance and executive team
