Daily Duties at Kroger Company:
Responsible for assisting the Store Manager in maximizing sales, controlling shrink and expenses (both labor and non-payroll) in order to achieve plan. Assists with implementing training programs for all members to ensure job knowledge and skills needed for advancement/promotion. Responsible for the hiring, transfer, promotion, training, development, evaluation, demotion, and termination of all employees. Prepares and transmits all Accounting reports prepared in the store, including reports on all phases of store activities, movement of products, cash accounting. Ensures proper payroll documentation and processing are followed which includes a time management system Employee Labor Management System (ELMS), SKED and KRONOS systems
