Daily Duties at Albu & Associates, Inc:

- Developed, planned, directed, and implemented Amway Center’s construction safety program to prevent injuries and work-related health concerns. - Provided worksite safety training and reviewed weekly tool-box meetings with over 120 subcontractors. - Planned and delivered training programs for contractor/subcontractor managers and workers on relevant injury prevention and compliance programs such as Lock Out/Tag Out, confined space entry, personal protective equipment, fire prevention/protection, chemical handling/ hazard communication, scaffolding hazards, and trenching hazards. - Directed or redefined procedures while implementing initiatives to encourage quality safety performance. Developed and implemented safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state and federal OSHA rules as well as industry best practices. - In collaboration with Human Resources of primary contractor/subcontractor workers compensation resources, coordinated restricted activity work and retraining program to bring injured workers back to work in a timely manner to minimize worker compensation payouts.
