Daily Duties at Frito Lay:

• Manage the production of products produced and ensured their overall quality. • Perform task associated with the calibration and maintenance of various quality equipment valued over 500K. • Serve as liaison between packaging, processing, and shipping departments to ensure only high quality products reach the consumer. • Supervised a team of 5 or more quality personnel focusing on safety, quality, cost, and service. • Facilitate team meetings. • Performed quality tests on raw materials to ensure specifications were in compliance. • Participated in the American Institute of Baking inspections. • Ensured quality technicians are in compliance with regulatory guidelines of Food Drug Association, OSHA, and HACCP. • Perform skill audits on technicians to ensure proper procedures were consistently demonstrated. • Inventory control of chemicals and lab equipment to perform tests in operations. • Motivate, coach, and actively train team members on new equipment, new procedures/changes, and products that the company introduces into operations. • Delegate duties amongst team members and implement work schedules. • Distribute data on foreign matter complaints within the organization (departmental)
