Daily Duties at Suny/Empire State College:
As such, I was actively involved in supporting the writing needs of our newly admitted and established students. I have designed a series of writing support workshops: Developing Academic Writing Skills, Academic Writing: Content and Form, Using Academic Sources, and Developing a Research Topic. These skill-based workshops are linked sequentially, can stand alone, or can be taken one at a time. In addition, I have provided secondary writing assessment to at- risk students, deliver follow up recommendations to both the student and their faculty advisor and offer writing tutoring
