Daily Duties at United States Air Force:
Advises the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center Commander and Executive Senior Staff on supply chain and logistics issues. Research and interpret complex policies and regulations for senior management. Evaluate performance trends and support impact to the logistics center’s current and future organic depot maintenance workloads. Lead special projects and studies and develop strategies to address logistics support issues. Present executive senior staff briefings and serve as member of the Executive Steering and Diversity Steering Groups. Forged powerful U.S. Air Force and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) partnership and sparked $30 million DLA safety stock investments for the Air Force’s three major aircraft overhaul depots. Jun 07- Jun 2010, Commander, Defense Logistics Agency, Warner Robins Air Logistics Center Led all Defense Logistics Agency business areas at Warner Robins Air Logistics Center (WR-ALC). Directed annual expenditure of $500 million in material for WR-ALC’s supply, storage, distribution functions. Supervised receipt storage/issue of material within 27 facilities in support of the Air Logistic Center’s worldwide Department of Defense customers. Extended DLA’s frontline enterprise and integrated on-site business areas to promote stronger alliance with the U.S. Air Force. Provided first-class supply chain support for over 3,000 aircraft and associated support systems within 65 countries. Advised Air Logistics Center Senior Director on supply chain issues as an extension of the Aviation Supply Center in Richmond VA. Sep 04 – Jun 07: Chief, C-17 Systems Support Manager, Robins Air Force Base, GA Responsible for the U. S. Air Force’s largest partnership contract valued at 960 million dollars annually, ensuring the worldwide sustainment of over 180 C-17’s for the U.S. Air Force and its allies. Logistics lead for modernization/sustainment of all C-17 strategic airlift aircraft. Directed spares sustainment, budget, technical data, support equipment procurement and organic and contractor repair. Directly interacted with supported commands, field units, Air Logistics Centers, Boeing subcontractors to ensure timely flow of C-17 through the Global Reach Improvement Modification Program. Provided oversight for procurement of all C-17 fleet sustainment requirements. Led C-17 site activations and depot maintenance workload activations at all three depot aircraft overhaul Air Logistics Centers. Oversaw the delivery of the first C-17 Aircraft to both Australia and Canada.
