Set traps for gray fox and handled non-target species including bobcat, raccoon, possum, and coyotes. Assisted trapping and removing beaver with conibear and snare traps. Performed physically demanding labor. Installed video cameras in beaver lodges. Extracted otter canines for age analysis. Performed otter and beaver necropsies. Assessed placental tracts for reproductive activity. Constructed track plates. Installed passive infrared cameras. Collected data on predator activity using tracks, cameras and foothold traps. Assessed vegetation density with a cover pole and densitometer. Used GPS navigation. Worked independently and as a member of a small team. Kept accurate notes and data. Maintained and kept traps in good condition.
