Daily Duties at Crowley Petroleum Distribution:
The terminal where I work is a 6,000,000 gal petroleum storage facility, we supply all hydrocarbon fuels from Nome Alaska to Prudoe Bay Alaska, that includes home heating fuel, gasoline, propane, and all aviation fuels for the surronding areas, that being said, I over see all of the maintenance of all equipment required to do this job, I keep up the parts inventory, I over see the mechanics, I am responsible for a multitude of pumps, boats, trucks, forklifs, loaders, etc. I also administer the safety program and a working partnership with OSHA, also I do all the training, fork lift certification, aircraft fueling and safety, PPE use and fit testing. I am responsible for all of the regulatory audits OSHA, EPA, ADEC, DOD, Coast Guard, DOT, Weights and Measures (meter calibration) I am responsiable for fuel quality testing for crowleys aviation customers (Alaska Airlines, DOD, and the various small airline carriers as well as the freight carriers)
