Daily Duties at The Accas Ten Cate Group:

Provided decisive leadership in this group, consisted of four large manufacturing organizations specializing in Textile, for satisfying Corporate vision in fully restructuring every organization, automating their business processes and increasing revenue, and reducing their operating costs and overhead. • Devised the Information Technology strategy for satisfying the Corporate Policy, within six months of my employment. Exporting 75% of their production, it was imperative to improve the efficiency of these organizations, increase their productivity by at least 20%, provide every level of management with up-to-date Information, and be aligned with their business partners in Europe, Japan and Middle-East, in every respect. • Adopted the Hybrid model in restructuring the Information Technology for satisfying the requirements of each organization and corporate. Therefore, a central I.T. department was formed at the corporate level, while maintaining a small-scale I.T. department in each organization for providing local technical support, and satisfy routine and ad-hoc needs. • Accomplished the reorganization and full automation of all four companies of the group within three years of my employment. Automated every business process in all four organizations simultaneously, by implementing uniform and integrated Applications. • Interacted successfully with all levels of management of each organization in reorganizing them, as well as automating their processes, while reporting to the CEO of the Group. • Supervised the development of Operating Procedures, according to every company’s new structure, their relationship with customers and suppliers, and their interaction with the corporate headquarters. • Managed the I.T. personnel at all sites, and retained the approval for all I.T. personnel activity (hiring, annual evaluation, training, and firing). Upgraded the host computer at each company and the corporate server with the new IBM AS/400 RISC models, which replaced the previous AS/400 models. • Designed and developed Local Area Networks in each company, and a WAN for establishing telecommunications among the companies and the Group’s Headquarters. Supervised the study and implementation of Disaster/Recovery procedures at all sites. • Developed the Information Technology Budget for all sites and corporate, on an annual basis. Budget revisions required the approval of the Group’s CEO.
