Daily Duties at Broward General Medical Center:
Working as an ER RN in a very fast paced environment. Responsible for quick assessment and close physician contact. Carrying out physician orders in very acute situations. managing not only extremely critical patients but also managing patients with substance abuse and mental health issues. Active member of the cardiac code blue team, trauma team, stroke team and induced hypothermia team. Preceptor for new nurses in the ER.
