Worked with the national and retail advertising departments to coordinate workflow and processes for ad placement in the newspaper. Ensured deadlines were met, materials were received and quality controls were in place. • Solved production issues 24/7 related to capacity and capability limitations. • Responsible for the fulfillment of print and digital advertising. • Effectively balanced sales, customers and company needs, using appropriate priorities while being mindful of deadlines. • Served on a cross-department team to recommend and implement changes to live-run zoning in the newspaper. • Managed open inventory of advertising by creating a real time calendar for special position tracking, along with a planning calendar that listed special sections, promotions and news topics. • Managed, coached and mentored staff of 15 Advertising Sales Support Coordinators.
