Daily Duties at Fimat/ Brody White / Mocatta Metals.:

• Assumed responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day Telecom operational issues. My duties encompasses voice and data communications, market data equipment, video conferencing, trading room turrets, PBX’s, voice mail, Nicelog recording devices, AS400 peripherals, PDS, LAN and WAN, Internet access, and setting up and testing our back office disaster recovery sites. • I project managed the installation of the satellite offices. My duties encompass construction, electrical, cabling, A/C, UPS, computer rooms, PDS, trading rooms. • I was part of a team in the decision making for moving or opening larger Fimat USA sites. Worked with such companies as Walsh Lowe or Communication Sciences approving RFP for telecom budget of the project. • I worked closely with other Fimat offices in maintaining our virtual private network and our Wide area network. • I work closely with the MIS department in managing a global frame relay network.
