Daily Duties at United Heath Care:
Market and sell Medicare plans to senior citizens. Resigned because product was difficult to sell: Commission only. Additional reasons why I resigned: Customers were not informed of consquences of changing from a group plan to the AARP United Health Care Medicare products. Some customers called before the three day grace period to cancel their Medicare policy from AARP United Health Care; Other senior citizens did not cancel, and had problems with claims processing, questions regarding what the policy actually covered and overall client support issues. Some of these senior citizens were in their 80s and 90s and did not have family and were left to make these important life changing decisions on their own. These seniors made choices to change policies based on the insurance agents information, and unfortunately, some key information was with held from the customers and it was to late to change back to the original group policy. This is not the way to sell a Medicare product that is purported to benefit the elderly and ease some of their Medicare premiums and co-payments.

Less important to you are stability of the organization, the length of time an organization has been in business, and the business' plans for the future. You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary. You thrive on change, uncertainty and the upside of potential business risks, especially those associated with innovation. Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.
