Daily Duties at 172d Aw/Cf:
Built, configured, and patched servers using a team approach. Manage an SCCM 2007 system for patching systems and vulnerability reports for higher ups. Tasked with setup, configuration, and management of a Sidewinder 7.0 firewall appliance after attending class, had previously been administrator for a Sidewinder 5.2 firewall. VMWare setup and configuration, with assistance and guidance of team member Jase McCarty. I also created virtual servers running Server 2003 and Server 2008 after training conducted by Jase McCarty. Self-taught on Symantec/Veritas Back-up Exec from version 8 through 12.0; from initial setup, configuration of jobs, media retention, and troubleshooting of problems. Was responsible for a Blackberry Exchange server until all email functions were consolidated up at the ANG level - setup of service, communicating with Exchange server, adding and deleting users from BES, and troubleshooting server and user problems if they arose. Was also responsible for activating new issue Blakcberry devices with ANG and with AT&T.
