Daily Duties at Transaction Network Services:
Conducted data testing for OC-48, OC-12, DS3, DS1 and DS0 type circuits; constantly monitored the primary backbone network using Netcool, HP Openview, and Netrix network management systems. Utilized knowledgeable expertise in all data circuit physical and protocol routing to install, configure and test new circuits for ATM and POS equipment, edited UNIX/LINUX file systems using vi Editor. Tested for any circuit errors or outages using remote desktop logins, and circuit latchable / non-latchable loop testing; used Visonael Circuit Database to locate all provisioned circuits. Provided shift daily activity turnover to oncoming shift supervisor; advised on any priority issues.
