Daily Duties at Elizabeth High School:
Taught beginning and intermediate Italian to high school students – duties included planning weekly lessons, including thematic units, cross-curricular activities and integrated instruction. Maintained positive classroom environment and provided personal and educational guidance to students. • Completed whole redesign of outdated Italian curriculum, incorporating the study of history and geography to create lessons and projects that truly excited the students. • Introduced technologies such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel into the lessons and projects. • Took on Spanish class at short notice and taught the group successfully for 2 months while also staying on top of own workload.
