Daily Duties at National Public Radio:
Served as Broadcast Engineer, Studio Recording Engineer, and Remote Recording Engineer on revolving, as-needed basis throughout 16-year tenure. Operated audio consoles for live-to-network program broadcasts. Managed audio quality control and performed audio repairs. Coordinated international resources utilizing ScheduAll. Led Master Control operations—making global connections via Windows and Mac OS computers, patchbays, Internet, ISDN/IP codecs, satellite phones, and POTS; entered complex computer automation data for program streams, audio routing, and recording/playback. Operated 96-track analog/digital recording studio to record live performances and intricate lengthy projects. Provided post-production multi-track editing and mixing. Designed production plan and mixed live, large-scale musical, theatrical, and news events.
