Hired through Apollo Staffing Services as a contract employee spearheading multiple projects for Honda over the past 10 years on site at Honda. Migrated complete data systems from California data center to new Colorado data center. Developed a proactive architecture design for system relocation while minimizing impact on business units. Work with upper management to identify and resolve design risks and assumptions. Detailed work schedule, project plan and timeline. Align proper resources for specialized tasks during prep and cutover. Cultivate vendor relationships through research, interview and negotiation of contract terms and pricing. Chair daily and weekly strategy meetings with diverse business units such as Applications Development and End Users to resolve issues and aid in meeting corporate goals. Acting as a technical project lead, gather technical infrastructure (server, network, storage, security) requirements from business and application teams, assemble technical infrastructure team, develop project plan, create design document, develop cost estimates, and present infrastructure design recommendation to senior management for approval. Once approved, track and manage implementation through warranty phase. Present data, costs and findings to US and Japanese management for approval and funding. Leverage previous skills in building internal/external relationships with teams, management, clients and vendors to detail highly complex IT systems and programs in understandable language
