Daily Duties at Delcora:

-Conduct 48 yearly industrial assessments to inspect waste disposal and all environmental impacts. Industries include Sunoco, Kimberly Clark, and Johnson & Johnson. -Act as a lead consultant and project manager for new waste disposal clients. This sector of DELCORA currently accounts for 7% of the total revenue and has nearly doubled since 2008. -Serve as the main departmental liaison between clients, consultants, and regulatory agencies. -Perform field sampling to analyze pollutants to the Delaware River in accordance with our discharge permit. -Review, track, and share data for accuracy between contract laboratories, clients, and the PA-DEP. -Prepare wastewater discharge permits in respect to all EPA Federal Regulations. -Create industrial investigation reports and flow diagrams. -Prepare monthly and annual compliance reports of all industries for the EPA. -Update our operating procedures for laboratory methods to comply with our annual EPA audit. -Oversee contract laboratory sampling for each industry. -Responsible for supervising interns from Drexel University. I analyze data collection and oversee research projects that are presented to co-workers, outside consultants, and regulatory agencies. -Maintain discharge compliance in accordance with the Clean Water and Clean Air Act. -Serve on the sustainability team and implement new practices for recycling and energy efficiency.
