Daily Duties at Federal Reserve Bank Of San Francisco:
As the title implies, the Audit Special Projects Manager was the "go to" manager for ad hoc projects and initiatives of the audit department. This position was responsible for leading and/or completing assignments for the management team; thereby freeing up the remaining managers to conduct hands-on audits. Examples of assignments that I completed follows. o Through development and implementation of an automated key risk indicator, dramatically reduced staff resources spent on auditing low-risk, high-functioning areas; and allowing for increased oversight of high-risk and/or problem areas o Initiated and implemented streamlined management information process that saved 24 hours/month in staff resources o Automated department’s expense redistribution process to significantly improve its accuracy and preparation time (which was reduced by two months) o Advised/led senior management team through annual employee performance planning and evaluation activities, annual merit exercise, and other human resource initiatives o Enhanced department morale by initiating and facilitating numerous staff training sessions, creating department newsletter for enhancing internal and external department communication, and coordinating team-building activities
What they like about Federal Reserve Bank Of San Francisco:
The social vibrance of a hiring firm is very important to you. Your ability to make and maintain friendships there is a critical part of your decision. You would likely be dissatisfied with a workplace that is quiet, cold, or otherwise not particularly social. When you investigate a new hiring company, ask recruiters, managers, and potential co-workers about the social life and opportunities there. This is especially important when you are relocating; moving dramatically alters your social sphere both inside and outside the workplace.
