Daily Duties at Ulster County Department Of Mental Health:

APA accredited pre-doctoral internship, chosen through competitive process. Worked with children (age 4 – 12) and their parents, adolescents (age 13 – 18) and their parents, and adults (age 18 and above). Treated PTSD (childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence), Depression, Anxiety, Adjustment Disorders, Conduct Disorders, Personality Disorders, Dissociative Disorders, Eating Disorders, Somatic symptoms, ACOA issues, women and children in domestic violence situations, partners of trauma survivors and children affected by HIV/AIDS. Utilized play therapy, art therapy, trauma recovery, family therapy, and couple therapy techniques, in both long-term and short-term models. Conducted psychological testing assessments within the agency as well as forensic evaluations for Ulster County Family Court.
