Daily Duties at Garner Family Eye Care:
Oversee ( supervise or manage) all insurance and billing operations. MANAGE ALL COLLECTIONS, accounts receivable and payment posting. COLLABORATE with physicians, insurance companies and third-party payers on practice, compliance ensuring accuracy of analytic reports, rates and denial issues. COLLABORATE WITH SENIOR EXECUTIVES TO DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT Electronic Data Interchange of all billed physician charges thus resulting in quicker retrieval of electronic remittance. INERACT AND COMMUNICATE regularly with various insurance carriers, to include Medicare, BCBS, UHC, Aetna, Cigna, Tricare and various other third party payers to ensure accuracy claims and expedite payments of outstanding and denied claims. ENSURE OUTSTANDING REPORTS are generated and updated resulting in timely payments. PROVIDE FULL RANGE OF OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPPORT for a multi-physician organization in every aspect of customer care.
